Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why can't I find my baby?
Not all babies born at Clark Regional Medical Center are placed in Stork Station. Parents have the option of the service and must sign a special release form. Often patients and families get Stork Station confused with the "First Photo" pictures which are taken and sold to parents after discharge. NOTE: Babies are not placed on Stork Station until after discharge from the hospital.

2. Why are last names not used?
For safety reasons, no last names and no addresses are used on Stork Station. We know visitors to our web site would enjoy sending congratulations to the new parents, but patient privacy is a vital part of our care.

3. How long are pictures on Stork Station?
Pictures of babies are left on Stork Station for 30 days. After 30 days, the picture will no longer be available. If you wish to keep the pages as a keepsake, we recommend you print off the pages.
