Coumadin Clinic

The Coumadin Clinic is a pharmacist based medication management service for patients who require the blood thinner, Coumadin. Patients are referred to the clinic by a primary care physician with whom the pharmacist has established a collaborative care agreement to evaluate and manage Coumadin therapy. The Coumadin Clinic operates daily Monday through Friday by scheduled appointments. For more information, contact the Clark Regional pharmacy at 859-745-3470.

Hospice

The Medical Surgical Unit works closely with Hospice East to provide impatient services when needed for Hospice patients. Hospice care is also available for extended length of stay on the Transitional Care Unit.

Intensive Care Unit

Our Intensive Care Unit cares for patients with serious or potentially life-threatening conditions. Skilled nurses have patients under constant observation, and are alert to any complication that may arise. The staff members are ACLS and PALS certified and provide the highest quality of care. The scope of service ranges from infants to geriatrics. Nurses who work in the ICU have had additional training to prepare them for this specialized unit.

The Medical Surgical Unit cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric services including Hospice support, acute medical surgical care, impatient, observation, and telemetry
