Specialty Clinic
The Specialty Clinic is located on the second floor of the hospital across from the Oncology Clinic. The clinic offers advanced cardiology services close to home. The following services are provided at the clinic:
Heart Ultrasounds
The Clinic offers Echocardiograms for all ages. Using state of the art digital Echo systems, patients with artificial heart valves, excessive scarring or extreme obesity can be quickly and easily imaged, providing cardiologists with unprecedented images, enabling physicians to feel more confident in their diagnoses and improve patient care.
Stress Test
The Clinic offers a wide range of cardiac stress testing including regular walking stress tests, medication stress, nuclear stress and stress echocardiograms.
Holter monitoring:
A Holter monitor is a light weight credit card size heart recorder. It is generally worn for 24 hours and up to 48 hours. This device allows the patient to perform daily activities while the heart rhythm is monitored. After the patient returns the monitor, a report is generated, and reviewed by a Cardiologist. The results are then sent patients ordering physician.
