You don’t have to go far for the care and information you need. Clark Regional’s Radiology Department offers a wide variety of imaging services right here in Clark County.

Located just around the corner from registration, imaging at Clark Regional is fast, convenient and comfortable. On-site, board-certified radiologist, Dr. Benjamin McQuaide, MD and Dr. Ian Haycocks, MD, evaluate each scan carefully.

Clark Regional Medical Center is accredited by the American College of Radiology in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), mammography, stereotactic biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided biopsy.

CT Scans

Clark Regional Medical Center has both a 64-slice and 128-slice computed tomography (CT) scanner in large, comfortable patient rooms. These top-tier machines allow scans to be completed more quickly and at a lower cost, helping you get back to what matters most.

Our magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine has a 1.5 Tesla magnet with a wide bore. The wider size means you feel less cramped and more comfortable during your scan. Bring your own tunes, or listen to ours on headphones provided during the procedure.

In addition to general MRI, Clark Regional Medical Center offers MRI-guided breast biopsies.

Nuclear Medicine

Clark Regional Medical Center’s nuclear medicine program covers both general and cardiac nuclear medicine, as well as therapy procedures. This includes, but not limited to:

  • Bone scans
  • Gallbladder and renal function testing
  • Heart studies
  • Thyroid treatments
  • Thyroid ablation


Clark Regional Medical Center offers 3D digital mammography, certified by the FDA through the Mammography Quality Standards Act since 1994 and accredited by the American College of Radiology since 1998. 3D digital mammography gives physicians a clearer view of structures inside the breast, making diagnosis of breast cancers possible even at their earliest stages. In addition to 3D digital mammography, we offer stereotactic biopsy, bone density testing, breast ultrasound imaging and guided biopsies.

Mammography services are located in Clark Clinic A in the Outpatient Imaging Center. 


Clark Regional Medical Center provides clear-color imaging for breast and general ultrasounds. When needed, aspirations and biopsies can be done as well. Patients experience same-day services, private ultrasound rooms and warm ultrasound gel. Advanced interventional procedures are performed daily to meet te needs of our patients. We provide the following services:

  • Thoracentesis/Paracentesis
  • Vein Ablations
  • Biopsies
  • Aspirations
  • Drain Tube Placements 

Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology

From routine X-rays on broken bones to interventional procedures such as angiography and stent placements, Clark Regional Medical Center’s diagnostic and interventional radiology program offers the full spectrum of imaging.

  • Arthrograms
  • Digital radiology and fluoroscopy
  • PICC line placements
  • Spinal punctures (Diagnostic, Therapeutic, & Spinal Chemotherapy Injections)

A dedicated interventional suite is available for any patients who require invasive procedures that utilize sedation.
