Clark Regional Medical Center Partners with Clark County Public Schools for Second Year to Provide Free Admission to Home Athletic Events for All Students
August 19, 2025

WINCHESTER, Ky. (August 19, 2025) – For the second year in a row, Clark Regional Medical Center is proud to serve as the corporate sponsor for Clark County Public Schools’ (CCPS) athletic program. Through this partnership, every CCPS student will once again receive free admission to all home athletic events for the 2025–2026 school year—continuing a tradition of removing cost barriers and ensuring every student can share in the excitement of game day.
This initiative reflects a shared commitment to fostering wellness, community connection, and youth engagement. By making athletic events more accessible, the program encourages students to support their peers, participate in positive social activities and celebrate the achievements of their school community.
"Wellness is about more than physical health, it’s about creating spaces where young people can connect, feel included and be inspired," said Matt Smith, chief executive officer of Clark Regional Medical Center. "We’re thrilled to continue this program for a second year, so every student has the opportunity to attend these events, cheer on their classmates and be part of something that builds pride and unity in Clark County."
CCPS Superintendent Dustin Howard expressed his gratitude for the ongoing partnership, emphasizing its impact on students and families. "This collaboration with Clark Regional Medical Center removes barriers and makes our athletic events accessible to every student in our district," Howard said. "The excitement, encouragement and community spirit at these games play a big role in our students’ school experience, and now, for the second year in a row, all of them can share in those moments."
The free admission program applies to all CCPS students for home athletic events throughout the 2025–2026 school year.
