Our History

1917: The original Clark County Hospital opened on the corner of Lexington and Wainscott Avenue in Winchester, KY, serving the community's growing healthcare needs.

1961-1967: A new facility was built on Lexington Avenue and opened in 1967, expanding the hospital's capacity.

1989: The hospital adopted its current name, Clark Regional Medical Center, as it expanded to 100 beds. 

2010: LifePoint Health purchased CRMC, leading to significant investment and modernization.

2012: A new $70 M campus opened at 175 Hospital Drive, featuring all private rooms, expanded emergency and diagnostic services, and a Medical Plaza.

2017: 45,000 sf expansion of the Clark Clinic. The new three-story building provides services such as cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation, sleep clinic, wound care clinic, center for rehabilitation, Coumadin clinic, congestive heart failure clinic and additional physician suites.
